Cyber Essentials Bundle Courses
1. Ransomware awareness
What is Ransomware, how it starts and how it affects businesses and individuals? Participants will go through a short exercise on an emulated desktop environment, learn how to identify malicious emails, experience a Ransomware attack, what to do if it happens to them and how to avoid it.
2.  Social engineering scams
In this module, participants will learn what are the risks and impacts of social engineering and the process of social engineering attack. They’ll analyse different text messages and phone calls on an emulated mobile phone and learn how to identify phone scams in a fun and interactive way.
3. Password security
In this module, the following topics will be covered:
- Understanding how passwords work.
- Identifying strategies for creating and protecting secure passwords.
- Learning how to respond if your password is compromised.
4. Being cyber safe while working remotely
Are you aware of cyber security risks when working remotely?
Do you know how secure networks work and how to secure your devices and their contents?
In this module, participants will address all these questions, review the dos and don’ts of working remotely, highlight the importance of keeping software up to date, and share essential safety tips.
5. Being cyber safe when returning to your workplace
In this module, participants will learn the following:
- Identify bad cybersecurity habits they may have picked up while working remotely.
- New tips on how to keep themselves and their work colleagues cyber safe.
- Simple strategies they can use to keep their devices and data secure when back to workplace.
6. Cyber Psychology
In this module, participants will learn the following:
- The psychological tricks cyber criminals use to perform scams
- How to verify if messages are likely to be scams or not.
- Simple techniques to avoid falling victim to psychological scams.
7. Privacy
In this module, participants will:
- Understand how online privacy works and the danger of privacy breaches.
- Learn simple techniques to protect their online privacy.
- Know what to do if their personal or professional identity is compromised.
8. Finance
Finance scams have become one of the leading sources of theft across the globe for both businesses and individuals.
In this module, participants will learn how to identify phishing and invoice scams, dodgy links and websites, what to do in case of suspicious message or transaction, and how to make their account safer.
9. Attack Types 1
In this module the participants will learn the how to identify phishing, malware and insider threat, with simple techniques to minimize their chances of falling victim to these attacks and what to do if they detect an attack on them or their organization.
10. Attack Types 2
In this module the participants will learn the how to identify man in the middle (MiTM), watering hole and password attacks, with simple techniques to minimize their chances of falling victim to these attacks and what to do if they detect an attack on them or their organization.
11. Attack Types 3
In this module the participants will learn the how to identify cryptojacking attack and zero-day exploit, with simple techniques to minimize their chances of falling victim to these attacks and what to do if they detect an attack on them or their organization.
12. Basic incident response
In this module, participants will learn the following:
- How to identify when a cyber incident may have occurred.
- How to respond effectively to identified cyber incidents.
- The most effective steps to minimize their chances of falling victim to cyber-attacks.
